A modern, safe, joyful public space — for hundreds of children and families across the city.
Stepanavan is a town in Lori region of northern Armenia, with around 13,000 residents — including hundreds of young families. There is currently no large, modern, accessible playground in the city.
The playground will be built on a vacant plot on Surb Vardan St, in the centre of Stepanavan — next to TUMO box Stepanavan, and easily walkable from most parts of the city.
It is designed to serve children of all ages and abilities — with swings, climbing structures, sand zones, seating, and accessible pathways.
The location, scope, and timeline have been agreed with the Stepanavan municipality through a signed Letter of Intent. Construction begins in 2026, right after the fundraising goal is reached.
Architectural visualisations of the playground — created with our architect partner.
Zoning of the playground — for movement, exploration, rest, and gathering.
Site plan of the playground in Stepanavan — designed with our architect and the local partner Instepanavan.
The team has visited the site multiple times and worked directly with the municipality to assess feasibility and finalise the location. The result — a signed Letter of Intent with the city of Stepanavan.

This is not a top-down project. We work on the ground with people who live, work, and raise their children in Stepanavan.
A local initiative dedicated to revitalising the city — from public spaces to community programmes. They know the place, the people, and what is needed.
Our collaboration began in 2025 and includes working sessions with the city administration and residents.
Together with the Stepanavan municipality, we have agreed on the location, secured permits, and started preparation for construction.
The next step — raise the remaining funds. Every contribution becomes a real piece of a real place.
The project is delivered in three stages. Contributions are allocated to the playground project, including construction, equipment, installation, and directly related project costs. Payment processing or banking fees may be deducted by the relevant provider.
Detailed estimate prepared with our architect Hayk Zalibekyan and agreed with the local partner Instepanavan. The remaining budget gap (rounded to 15M AMD) is what the 17 June charity evening is raising.
We have a clear goal and a real timeline. Every contribution gets us closer.
